Client Challenges

The Borough of Eastleigh is located just north of Southampton. Adjoining the town centre and railway is a large area which the Borough Council were keen to see redeveloped to offer a variety of uses, including a Technology and Innovation centre. The Council wanted to appoint a consultant to take the Innovation Centre project forward.

Our Solutions

We undertook a study, working with landowners, the Borough Council and local higher and further education establishments, to assess the potential for the innovation centre. In particular we worked to understand the way in which the council and educational establishments could work together to provide a focal point for interaction with SME’s in the borough and leverage their research into businesses nearby.

Results

Our work secured buy-in to the project by a number of key promotional stakeholders and enabled them to better understand how they might work together to deliver space for innovation, in optimum fashion.
